HUDA sets the path of development in real estate

HUDA – Haryana Urban Development Authority was formed under the Haryana Urban Development Authority Act 1977 with an aim to carry out planned and coordinated development of the urban areas and district in Haryana. For administrative convenience and viability, HUDA zones include Panchkula, Hisar, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Rohtak, Karnal and Rewari.

One of the important reasons for the success of HUDA is its administrative efficiency and set-up that highlights and aims speedy implementation of the various Housing schemes. The constructive efforts of HUDA have transformed towns like Gurgaon, Sonipat into the most desired destinations for housing companies in Haryana to undertake Real Estate Developments. Similarly, Real Estates and Property market in Haryana has witnessed some of the skyrocketing transactions when HUDA Auction takes place as many commercial giants from the hospitality industry have characteristically shown great interest in HUDA plots. In fact, HUDA Gurgaon recently undertook HUDA Auctions of commercial plots that were purchased for a whooping sum for Hotel Development.

HUDA has 28 townships in Haryana. The main functions of the Authority are to promote and secure development of urban areas by acquiring undeveloped land. It develops and disposes off land for residential, industrial, institutional and commercial purposes. It develops world-class physical infrastructure for its township like roads & bridges, water supply and sewage systems, storm water drainage systems and horticulture works. HUDA has also been providing the basic infrastructure facilities for health care, education, recreation, environment, industry and community development. The Authority also undertakes development in the National Capital Region thereby ensuring proper coordination with the Central and other State Governments.

Haryana Urban Development Authority is developing a new website which is also having facilities like HUDA’s major initiative, events, gallery, objective and mission, various departments of HUDA like Architecture, Planning and monitoring, Engineering, Establishment, Town Planning, Urban development, legal Department, IT Department, Finance Department, and Enforcement Department etc. Public Notices, Tender Notices and Departmental Notices etc.

Today, Haryana being one of the favored destinations for Real Estate Developments, there are many Non-Resident Indians investing in Plots in HUDA Panchkula and HUDA Faridabad. And likewise, government is also planning to establish more development autorities like HUDA for other property in India.
